Sales Administrator
Support the sales team by managing bookings, client comms, and payment tracking. Detail-oriented and flexible, you’ll ensure smooth operations across local and global travel branches.
Sales Administrator
The role:
As a Sales Administrator, you’ll provide administrative support throughout the booking process, primarily assisting your local sales branch and Travel Consultants, while also handling tasks for the wider branch or global team. Flexibility and attention to detail are key.
Your responsibilities include monitoring booking queues for missing information, contacting clients or trade partners via email, updating records accurately, and keeping Travel Consultants informed. You’ll also manage due balance reminders, sending payment instructions to clients and updating the relevant Consultant.
What You Will be Doing
Email clients and trade partners to request missing passenger information
Input booking form information into our booking system
Email clients and trade partners to chase balance payments
Send weekly list of outstanding tasks due to Travel Consultants
Respond to inquiries from new clients using template emails
Assist with any additional administrative tasks as requested by your line manager or Branch Sales Manager
What We Are Looking for From You:
Ability to manage a varied workload independently, prioritising appropriately and approaching others for support when needed
Strong organisational skills and a respect for process within the function
Basic IT skills and experience of using core MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
Good numeracy and literacy skills are required in this role. You’ll be inputting prices provided by our suppliers and whilst you won’t need to do calculations for yourself, you will need to enter the data correctly.
An ability to get things right.
Experience using database systems and being responsible for data entry will be beneficial.
You will need to be able to identify missing information and take the necessary steps to find that information and update the relevant systems/documents.
